    Hi all,

On Wednesday, I was on the Russ Clark show on KBLU 560 AM. For me, the show was a success. I made some new contacts to include the Mayor Larry Nelson, Cody Beeson, Russ Clark and Daniel.

I am happy to announce that Vince at TrueVison Photography, http://www.truevisionpro.com, will be joining our staff to make this the best movie we can make.

Vince’s main business is photography and I encourage you to check out his link at the bottom for all your photography needs.

When the actors come into town we hope to get them on the Russ Clark show and we hope to find a sponsor that will provide their establishment for a meet-n-greet. This idea will drive customers to their business and give them a chance to meet some hollywood style actors. Great advertising as well.

Excellent news will soon be coming. Please stay tuned as we finalize some contracts, etc.

Wow, Saturday was a huge success. We auditioned some very good talent and the decisions are going to be tough. We have decided on some, but not all yet and we are continually talking about the roles and the auditions. It will probably take a week or two to finish this round of evaluations. Hang in and stay tuned as more and more people come on board.

    Thanks all,

  • Charles

We finished a first casting call and let me tell you how impressed I was with a good portion of the talent that came to audition. We are analyzing the film footage and making some deterninations. There is a lot to review so it may take a week or two.

  • Charles

We went into the hotel at night to test cameras and see how much light came in from the outside. This place was pitch black in most areas and partially lit in some. It was wonderfully creepy. We got new footage so take a look at the new teaser on the home page.

  • Charles

I would like to thank Sean Allen for his help on our film.

Sean is a real estate agent and you can find his link at the bottom of my home page. Sean helped me buy my house in 2001 and everyone once in awhile I contact him with questions and stuff. I highly recommend him if you are looking to buy or sell.

As for the movie, Sean is going to make a real estate sign for one of our scenes, “Allen Liarsby Realty.” He is also going to read for the role of Sean who coincedently is a real estate agent who works for Allen in the film.

Sean may also help with some other aspects, but I will post later on that if it comes through.

    Thanks Sean!

  • Danny Wrenn

    Hi Charles
Really cool you’re making a movie here in Yuma. My wife Wendy will be attending your casting call May 30. She has volunteered me to meet with you regarding my band. FYI we have a CD out, we are country, rockabilly mix. I’ll bring a copy for you, maybe you can use some of our music for your score. I understand your budget and would be willing to settle for back end residuals, royalties only. See you May 30.
    Danny

    Hi All,

While we are working up our budget and talking with possible investors we are going to start moving forward.

We have scheduled our first casting call for May 30, 2009, the the Yuma Arts Center. This is more of private showing and if you have not submitted your name and information too me, now would be the time to do that.

I would like to have as many of the crew there as possible so everyone can get together. We may also find more crew members on this date as well.

I look forward to seeing all or as many of you there as possible.

  • Charles

    Hi all,

I would like to update everyone. We currently have interest from LA and Las Vegas for our movie. We are also looking at finding a large enough place to hold an audition and meet and greet with the crew. The crew list is building and everything is looking good.

  • Charles

I would like to welcome Colleen Marshall to our production crew. Director Gwinn spoke to her about her qualifications and was pleased with the outcome.

On a second note, please bare with us as we are trying to work out our funding. We are continuing to try and make this an excellent quality film and the more we can fund the better our project will be. Stay tuned as more to follow.

Please feel free to post here with questions, comments, etc.

  • Charles

We have a few new members to the crew. Please take a look at the front page and you will be able to see the new people. I am excited about the crew that we are developing as they seem to bring in some unique qualifications and experience.

  • Charles

I would like to welcome Zeke onto our team. Zeke’s experience is in the audio/sound departments. Please welcome him aboard when we all finally get together.

  • Robert H. Gwinn

In the past few months since I first told Charles that Rampant Entertainment was looking for a horror movie, things have moved forward with relative comfort. Thanks Charles for being the go-getter you are. It is nice to be working with someone who has the passion and drive that you do. I look forward to taking the reigns with the cast (Whoever they are) and bringing your words to the screen.
